What this campaign adds

Casual Street Racing is the first 2REAL race campaign — a series of six handcrafted races on the Shutoko Revival Project map for Assetto Corsa. The races run on top of live 2REAL traffic, so every pass is between real AI cars on the wangan, not on an empty closed circuit. Each race can be played on three difficulty tiers (Easy, Mid, Hard) that change opponent speed, opponent count and ambient traffic density.

The campaign is built for the 0.94 update of SRP and uses the new sections of the map alongside the classic Shutoko inner loop and bayshore route. Races start either from the in-game phone, from the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App)'s Races tab, or by driving into one of the racer markers placed around the map and pressing enter.

The races

Six races are included in this first campaign. Three are unlocked from the start; the remaining three unlock as you finish hard-difficulty wins:

How a race plays out

Once a race is started, you get a 3-second countdown, and then you race the AI to the finish line. The race runs with ambient 2REAL traffic — you have to weave through normal cars on the wangan while battling the named opponents. After the race ends the racers and the traffic just keep driving, so there is a smooth transition back to free-roam mode rather than a hard cut to a results screen.

Racing happens on the same flow you'd use for a regular drive: spawn a car, pull up the phone or open the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App)'s Races tab, pick a race and a difficulty, accept. When you'd rather start from the road, drive up to one of the racer markers placed around the map and press enter — the marker triggers the same race menu with the cars already lined up at that spawn.

Completing the campaign

To complete Casual Street Racing, win all 6 races on Hard difficulty in first place. Each Hard win unlocks the next race, so the campaign stretches across the full SRP map progressively rather than all at once. Easy and Mid wins still pay off — you can use them to learn a route, scout the AI's racing line, or just farm a comfortable run — but they do not unlock new races.

How it works with the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App)

The race campaign is a data-only add-on for the SRP map. All race logic — the countdowns, the AI opponents, the traffic interaction, the live timing — runs through the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) at runtime. A few systems in the App matter most for race campaigns:

How to install

  1. Install 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) 2.0 or later (drag the App package into Content Manager).
  2. Install the Shutoko Revival Project 0.94 base map. Earlier SRP versions are not supported by this campaign.
  3. Unzip the download and copy the included missions folder into the SRP track's /data folder, e.g. assettocorsa/content/tracks/shutoko_revival_project_094_ptb1/tatsumi_pa/data/missions.
  4. Launch Assetto Corsa, load Shutoko Revival Project in Practice mode, and open the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) in-game.
  5. Open the phone or the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App)'s Races tab — the three starter races are immediately available.

Frequently asked questions

Does this campaign require the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App)?

Yes. The race logic, opponents, countdown and live timing all run through the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App). Without it, the campaign data sits in the track folder but no race can be started.

Which version of SRP do I need?

Shutoko Revival Project 0.94. The campaign uses the new sections introduced in 0.94, so older versions of SRP will not load all the routes correctly.

Do I need the 2REAL traffic mod for SRP installed too?

It's strongly recommended. The campaign was designed around live 2REAL traffic — the AI racers weave through ambient cars, and the race difficulty is balanced for that. Without traffic the routes still work, but the experience is closer to a closed-circuit race than to street racing.

Can I play on Easy and still finish the campaign?

You can play every race on any difficulty, but unlocks only count for Hard wins in first place. Easy and Mid are great for learning routes and getting used to the AI's racing line.

How do I see my position and gap during a race?

Use the 2REAL Score app — it shows your current position in the race and the time gap to first place live. It's part of the standard 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) package.

What happens after a race ends?

The race ends when you cross the finish line, but the traffic and racers keep driving. There's no hard cut to a results screen — you stay on the road and can drive back to a marker for the next race or just cruise.

Will more campaigns follow?

Yes. Casual Street Racing is the first 2REAL race campaign — more campaigns for other 2REAL maps are in the pipeline. Each will be released as its own download on this page.

Where do I get help if installation fails?

Join the 2REAL Discord — install issues for the campaign and the App are both resolved there. The install guide also covers the full setup from a clean Content Manager.
