What you get with this mod

Realistic AI traffic for Battenbergring. The mod ships pre-tuned spawn density and lane data; the actual cars are driven live by the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App), which lets you adjust traffic density, spawn rules and behaviors while you drive.

This is the traffic data layer for Battenbergring — splines, spawn points, lane priorities — all packaged for use with the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App). Once you install both, the App spawns and steers AI cars across the map and exposes density, behavior and police controls live in-game.

What to tune in the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App)

The mod is data; the App is the engine. For Battenbergring, these are the App features that matter most:

Battenbergring — the base map

Battenbergring is a fictional German circuit recreation that draws on the layouts of regional Hessen country roads — flowing medium-speed corners, short straights and gentle elevation changes typical of the German Mittelgebirge. Built for spirited driving rather than top-speed runs.

How to install

  1. Install 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) (drag the App package into Content Manager).
  2. Install the base map: Battenbergring.
  3. Place the included traffic.json into the track's /data folder.
  4. Launch Assetto Corsa, load the track in Practice mode, and open the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) in-game.
  5. Tune density, lane behavior and other settings from the in-game phone UI.

Frequently asked questions

Does this mod require the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App)?

Yes. The traffic and pedestrian behavior is driven by the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App). The mod ships the spline data; the App spawns and animates the AI at runtime.

Is this Patreon-exclusive or free?

Most 2REAL mods are tied to a tier on Patreon — the download button on this page checks your access automatically once you log in. Some mods are free; the button will reflect what tier (if any) is required.

What's the recommended traffic density for Battenbergring?

Start with the App's default density and tune from there. On highway-heavy maps, mid-to-high density feels natural; on city maps, lower density with more police presence often feels more realistic. See Traffic Density for the full reference.

Does this mod modify the base map's geometry?

No. The mod only adds spline and spawn data into the track's /data folder. The base map stays untouched, so you can disable the mod by removing the JSON files without affecting anything else.

Will it run smoothly on my system?

High-density traffic and pedestrians are GPU- and CPU-intensive. If you see frame drops on Battenbergring, switch to a lighter performance preset in the App, or lower the density.
