The Daikoku PA map

A recreation of Daikoku Futo Parking Area, the legendary nighttime meeting place for Tokyo car culture on the Bayshore Route. Connected to the Wangan and Shutoko expressways, Daikoku PA is the iconic gathering spot for tuner culture, kaido racers and the Tokyo nighttime drive scene.

What you get with this mod

Adds 3D animated walking pedestrians to the map. Sidewalks, plazas and intersections come alive with people, turning the empty streets of the map into a believable city scene.

With this mod, Daikoku PA stops being an empty city. Hundreds of 3D characters are placed across walkable surfaces, with realistic crossing patterns and idle behaviors. The 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) reads the placement data and brings them to life at runtime.

Recommended App features for this map

All AI behavior on Daikoku PA runs through the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) — the mod itself just ships the spline data. A few App features stand out for this kind of map:

How to install

  1. Install 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) 1.6 or later (drag the App package into Content Manager).
  2. Install the base map: Daikoku PA.
  3. Place the included pedestrian.json (and traffic.json if you also use the traffic mod) into the track's /data folder (e.g. assettocorsa/content/tracks/soyo_daikoku/...).
  4. Launch Assetto Corsa, load the track in Practice mode, and open the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) in-game.
  5. Adjust pedestrian density and behavior live from the in-game phone UI.

FAQ

Does this mod require the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App)?

Yes. The traffic and pedestrian behavior is driven by the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App). The mod ships the spline data; the App spawns and animates the AI at runtime.

Does this work in multiplayer?

Traffic and pedestrian behavior is a client-side overlay — other players need the same mod and 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) version to see the same AI. For dedicated server setups, see Online Mode for compatibility notes.

How do I update the mod when a new version is released?

New versions usually drop the same JSON files into the same /data folder as the previous version. Replace the existing files and the 2REAL Traffic Tool (2REAL App) will pick up the new spline data on the next launch.

Is this Patreon-exclusive or free?

Most 2REAL mods are tied to a tier on Patreon — the download button on this page checks your access automatically once you log in. Some mods are free; the button will reflect what tier (if any) is required.

What's the recommended traffic density for Daikoku PA?

Start with the App's default density and tune from there. On highway-heavy maps, mid-to-high density feels natural; on city maps, lower density with more police presence often feels more realistic. See Traffic Density for the full reference.
