But can we run them over? - answering the most frequent question regarding pedestrian mod ;)
For the 2.0 release of 2REAL Mod, I have been working on a lot of refinements and new features for 2REAL Pedestrians.

The update will include:
9 new Pedestrian Models (now 12 total)
all models reworked with better texture & shader settings
all models now maximum optimized (reduced files size from 50mb -> 2mb per model)
new player models for walking mode
now with idle & running animations
dozens of new, reactive animations
pedestrians walk aside when player is driving slow
run away when player is driving fast
fall down on impact or near hit
collision effects on FFB & car, including visual particle fx
fully working online-integration
all of those things work online too
players can see each other in walking mode online
there are some animations that play automatically when you are at certain distances to another player (wave, talk, dance...)
The optimization plays the most significant role here, as it now basically allows to spawn around x 20 the amount of pedestrians compared to before, with the same performance impact.
So we can now do mass-pedestrian simulations, with way more variety and pedestrians reacting to the player in different kind of ways. There will also be another core feature added for Pedestrians, that I will tell you more about soon.
